Welcome to my Professional Jumble — a creative patchwork of stories, stitches, and science.
This site is part portfolio, part blog, and part digital garden. It’s a space where I explore ideas that sit at the intersection of curiosity, creativity, and reflection. Some days that’s veterinary medicine; other times it’s why my latest sewing project turned into a lopsided bag. Either way, it’s all part of the journey.
I built this space to house the full scope of my interests — because I don’t believe we need to split ourselves into tidy categories to be taken seriously. Here, you’ll find honest writing, quiet experimentation, and thoughtful messes — all in one place.
Content and originality
All written content on this site is my own work. I’ve poured time and care into shaping these pieces, whether they’re personal reflections, research-based articles, or fictional stories. Where relevant, I cite or link to external sources to acknowledge ideas, research, or inspiration.
That said, we live in a world rich with shared ideas:
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again;
Ecclesiastes 1:9
there is nothing new under the sun.”
Any similarity to existing work is entirely coincidental. Likewise, unless someone is clearly named or referenced, any resemblance between fictional characters and real people is unintentional.
Photos and fabric
All photographs used on this site — including backgrounds, blog images, and quote cards — are my own, taken with my camera or phone.
Many feature fabric from my personal stash, including quilting cottons, offcuts, and upcycled finds. No claim is made to their original design. As many of these fabrics have no labels or selvedges, I can’t always credit the original makers. If you recognise a fabric as your work, please feel free to get in touch — I’ll be happy to add credit where it’s due.
Please do not reuse or reproduce any photos from this site without permission.
Comments are off – but curiosity is welcome
Feel free to reach out using the form if you’d like to connect thoughtfully.
